Dr Gina Washbourn is a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at the University of Liverpool. With a background in Medicinal Chemistry, her teaching has evolved to focus on chemical education, particularly student skill development, assessment for learning, and the integration of digital tools. A teaching experience in Ocean Sciences sparked a strong interest in sustainability, which now informs her work on embedding sustainable practices into the chemistry curriculum. She is particularly passionate about engaging students as partners in educational resource design and research.
