Marit de Kort is a policy officer at the Graduate School of Life Sciences, University Medical Center Utrecht. With a background in biomedical sciences and experience in gene regulation research, she transitioned from academia to education policy, with a focus on sustainability and planetary health in biomedical education. As a member of Green Labs NL, Marit promotes greener, more sustainable research practices across the Netherlands, combining her passion for science and environmental responsibility to advance planetary health in academic and research settings.
